Award Winning Umami Seasoning is a special addition to every kitchen, it is a blend of Shiitake Mushrooms powder, Halen Môn Sea Salt and dry seaweed, both Shiitake and seaweed are high in Umami and the Halen Môn Sea Salt enhances the delicate flavour.
“Umami” is a Japanese concept referring to the fifth taste on your tounge, after salty, sour, sweet and bitter. It is an earthy minerally taste that draws other tastes to the fore.
